Shot the TLR way the way I was shown by my parents with their Rolleiflex, Rolleicord, Kodak Reflex and other great cameras with waist level finders. When using a digital camera with a flip down LCD I look like any other tourist trying to get a camera to work and I'm mostly ignored since I'm not in their face shooting eye level.

So while Cece is getting me snacks at the bakery, I'm testing out a week old Olympus E-M5 with a just out of the box 12-50mm lens. Shooting under uncontrolled conditions is the best way to check out new equipment because that's how life is...for me, anyway.

A carnival was packing up this morning after a weekend run near the U of Chicago. As I drove by I saw a carnie sleeping on his rig but decided not to take his picture. Would I want a carnie taking a picture of me while I'm sleeping? Do unto others...

Later this evening i drove by again while on my way to the Senior Prom at U of C and the Oreo trailer was still there while the rest of the carnival was gone. I guess it was fried.

From Monday morning. There's a high fence around this area, about 6 feet high, enough to keep me out but not grafitti artists. So I shoot with the camera held way high viewing the LCD and trying to keep it level.
